Based in Leyton, East London, our Baby Bank is like a food bank but for baby essentials. Our aim is for the local community to donate new and lightly used baby goods and we can pass them on to local people who need them. There are also many items we need to buy new such as nappies, wipes, and moses basket mattresses to enable babies to sleep safely in pre-loved cots.
We do not currently have enough funding to meet the need we are seeing in our community this winter - any donation you make will help a family in crisis this winter.
Cornerstone Baby Bank was set up by a group of local parents in 2020 in response to the need they saw in their community. We helped over 150 families last year and our referrals are soaring week by week as the cost of living crisis affects more and more families.
How far will your donation go?
£10 buys one pack of nappies, wipes and nappy cream.
£15 would buy a baby towel and a pack of baby toiletries.
£20 buys a coat or snowsuit for a baby or toddler.
£45 would pay for a Moses basket and mattress for a new baby.
£150 could provide a new mum with a Moses basket full of bedding, clothing, nappies and wipes to get them started on their parenting journey.
