Who are we?
Conwy County Schools u14 girls are a representative team chosen from the various Secondary Schools in the small County of Conwy as the most talented girls of their age in the region.
The team compete in the Welsh Schools Football Association League against other Welsh Counties.
The girls are currently in second place in the u14 league despite the majority of the team being a year younger which is testament to their talent and commitment.
The girls have formed a fantastic team spirit and have become great friends through the power of Football.
As part of our fundraising Efforts, The team will take part in a Half-Marathon Sponsored Walk so please use this page to sponsor them for this.
Why are we crowdfunding?
The girls have been presented with an amazing once in a lifetime opportunity to compete in a prestigious tournament in The Netherlands in May 2025 (only a few months away) which also includes a tour of the PSV Eindhoven Stadium and a visit to Amsterdam.
Unfortunately the cost is proving prohibitive, particularly the cost of Travel which is around £8000 in total.
There is no funding available for the team, it is entirely run by volunteers and funded by the generosity of some of the parents sponsoring the kit and car sharing etc to make the long trips to away matches in other parts of the country.
We have been fund raising through various events and have managed to raise enough funds for the accommodation costs but this has mainly been via the teams parents and families.
We are now appealing to help raise funds towards the cost of Travel so that we can make this dream trip a reality for a really special group of hugely talented young female footballers who are the future of women’s football in our area and will be an inspiration to younger females in Conwy Schools hoping to take up Football.
Please help us to send these girls to The Netherlands and hopefully see them come home to North Wales with a Trophy!

How we’ll spend the money
Every single penny of the amount raised will go to the cost of Travel for the team to make the trip along with Parents who need to accompany the girls in line with Safeguarding Policies.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
