Converted Chapel Window Replacement
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

170 year old chapel converted 40 years ago is in urgent need of new special customised windows

by Tom Copper in Tiverton, England, United Kingdom

The 14 windows, like the one in the photo, of this converted chapel were re-made 20+ years ago but unfortunately the carpenter/joiner who re-made the windows used soft wood which hasn't stood up to the extreme weather conditions that the windows are subjected to.  Despite having been re-painted a number of times since being made, the paint keeps peeling off and the wooden frames are rotting.

After much research, a company has been found that can custom make new windows in the right material that will restore the aesthetically pleasing look of the beautiful chapel.  However, the cost of custom making the windows as well as replacing the glass double glazing is going to be very expensive.

If you are able to help finance these replacement windows to restore this converted chapel to its former glory, we would be very grateful.  No donation is too small.

Many thanks for reading.
