Connect is an inclusive community of ordinary people working out together what it looks like, in practical terms, to live Christ’s way of love. We look for ways to improve the lives of those living in Exminster, encouraging greater community connection, learning and care for each other. We have been drawn to the way of love that Jesus taught and embodied – A life of wholeness, reconnecting us to one another, ourselves and God. We are an emerging community, affiliate to St. Martin’s CoE Church, who are trying to work out what it means to be church not just go to church.

Starting in 2022, we are committed to support the wider community of Exminster in getting better connected, learning together and caring for one another. We have been the main organising group supporting 30+ Ukrainian residents to make their homes in Exminster, offering support groups, language classes, conversation connection cafes and much more. We have also run free village fun days for Christmas and Easter bringing together all ages to have fun and learn together. We are passionate about encouraging mental wellbeing and have lead a village 'date night' providing inspirational resources to support people in their marriages and long term relationships.
