Community Pony C.I.C aims to help those in need in our community with pony therapy, because we are parents of a child with a disability, we understand how beneficial pony therapy can be and it means so much to us to be able to offer our support to others in the community. At the moment mental health is more important than ever. Pony therapy brings emotional, psycho-social and physical benefits to many people, it helps improve self esteem, confidence and trust, it has been known to reduce blood pressure, shorten recovery time and release endorphins, which is particularly helpful for those suffering from anxiety and stress.
We aim to raise money to buy a field for equine therapy. When renting land it can become complicated and you risk losing it, which can result in having to relocate, which can have a massive effect on the community. We want to raise money, in order to provide security for our project, which will benefit many.
