Community Driving School

Community Driving School CIC offers a transformative journey for individuals facing hardships by merging essential employability training with comprehensive driving courses. Through CV writing, interview preparation, confidence building, and more, alongside a full UK driving license program, we empower those in difficult situations with the skills and experience needed for meaningful employment.

Our unique safeguarding policy, approved by Kent County Council, sets us apart. We are the only driving school in the UK equipped to teach incredibly vulnerable individuals, including victims of sexual abuse, those experiencing homelessness, and ex-offenders. This dedication to safety and respect is a standard not required nationwide, making us a trusted choice for your loved ones. While other instructors must undergo DBS checks every three or four years, our enhanced policy ensures greater protection and peace of mind.

We provide top-tier, tailored driver training, specialising in supporting individuals with Anxiety, Autism, Self-Confidence issues, and other mental health challenges.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we offer free driving lessons and employability training to those encountering adversities. This program is specifically crafted to enable individuals to "earn" their driving license, offering a beacon of hope amid challenging circumstances. 

Any money raised will go towards this worthy cause with the aim to expanding Community Driving School throughout the UK for those in need of support 

our aim is clear: to break down the barriers that prevent individuals on low incomes, the unemployed, young carers, and students from accessing job opportunities previously out of reach. We understand the life-changing impact of driving – it offers freedom, mobility, and access to employment opportunities previously beyond grasp.
