On the 9th December 2020 we'd raised £1,000 with 38 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We have been working across Romford, Woolwich and Dartford with some of the most vulnerable people in our communities to respond to the effects of the Covid-19 lockdown: young people at risk of homelessness, families facing food poverty, senior citizens and people with health conditions experiencing isolation who often have nobody else to support them.
We now want to make sure that all of these people have at least one Christmas gift and are raising funds to provide hampers for families (to include basics and some Christmas treats) and gifts for the hundreds of young people we support and those experiencing isolation.
We aim to reach over 1,000 people with this project and need your support to do it. Our amazing volunteer teams will deliver these gifts and hampers in the week before Christmas, making sure each of these people have a Christmas to remember and not one to forget.
