Colour of Light, Second Album

Aim: We're so excited to be ready to record album No.2. But we need your help! Join us as we create an album jam packed with great new tunes.

WHO WE ARE

We are Colour of Light, a guitar, mandolin, banjo, double bass, vocals and harmonica ensemble blending folk, blues, bluegrass and classical influences into our own unique sound.  Our original songs are finely crafted with love and care; songs of protest, dreams, landscape, history and celebration. As individuals we've performed at Glastonbury and Latitude Festivals, on stages nationally and internationally, regularly broadcast on BBC Radio 3, 4 and 6 Music, and have over 450,000 Spotify plays. 

We're a regular part of the vibrant Leeds and West Yorkshire live music scene, and aim to bring our audiences our infectious love of music, honest storytelling, joyful performance and first-class musicianship.

WHAT WE'RE DOING

We have a lovely and loyal audience who regularly support us in the wide range of grassroots venues in West Yorkshire that we play at. They come down to gigs, support both us and live music in general, and always give us loads of brilliant feedback.

After the success of our debut album 'Once Lay a King' we have an album of new songs ready to record that we're really excited to share with you.

We're going to fund this from a combination of 1) our previous album sales 2) our hard earned cash and 3) kind donations from this crowdfunder campaign.
