We've reached our initial target of £500 which is incredible and we are so grateful to all who have donated...now we need to go further and need your help with this! Our stretch target is £1000 which will help to support our little school with some bigger maintenance issues - with your help we can secure a robust rural primary school for future generations to come. Please share our pledge far and wide thank you!
Colden J&I school is situated on the hillside above Hebden Bridge, the school has been going since 1878 and serves this small rural community so well, in light of its age and situation (driving wind and rain up on the tops!) it is in need of a bit of a summer spruce up! Friends of Colden School have come together and landed on Saturday 8th June for the big DIY SOS day and we need YOUR help! Parents, carers, grandparents, local tradespeople, businesses and anyone else in our local community who is able to lend a hand on the day - we welcome you and your tools with open arms. For anyone else who can't make the day, but is able to donate, even a small amount, to help us with materials then this crowdfunder is the place to do it.
Please also help to spread the word about our fundraising by sharing this link far and wide to friends, family and neighbours. Every penny counts for a small school.
