Reducing death by hyperthermia this Christmas by donating money for material to our volunteers to make and distribute sleeping pods.

provide more pods!

This winter the churches and night shelters are forced to close their doors to the homeless due to the covid-19 crisis leaving many homeless at risk of hyperthermia. Our aim is to make and distribute these foil bubble insulation sleeping pods in order to save lives this Christmas to as many homeless as possible.

The pods cost £17 EACH to make. We are looking at ways we can reduce this cost but due to the materials it is important we don't skimp to make optimum warmth and make the pods as efficient as possible!

Kathryn Davies and her husband Kevin are dear friends of mine and have offered to make these pods completely for free - they just need help buying the materials. I have donated myself and here are some photos of them at work (not complete haha) with the money yesterday! 1605986671_pods2.jpg1605986636_pods.jpg
