We're still collecting donations

On the 6th September 2022 we'd raised £145 with 9 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

We are a not for profit organisation in Canterbury and Ashford that offer employment opportunities to those with Autism, Learning Disabilities and those that face other barriers to employment

Our founder Zoe and her husband Grant are both running London marathon 2022. Grant got in with the ballot, and Zoe decided to get a Charity place with Alzheimers Research UK. This charity is very personal to the family as Grant's Dad was diagnosed shortly before he got his Marathon place.1657797047_cbf47300-aeaa-40b8-b0af-fcd90e5ca0b1.jpg

A target for the business has always been to become more sustainable and to promote this to the customers as well. But after getting through Brexit and battling through covid, the cost to do this has been a hard one to fund.

Starting with baby steps, we want to raise funds to be able to get reusable travel cups for our customers to purchase, and to continue our ethos of being more sustainable and promote this through our business. Thats where Coffee Cups for Alzheimers begins! What profit we make from these cups will go straight into the pot for Zoe's Charity place, raising funds into vital research for this disease. And the cups will help us and our customers be more friendly to the environment!

This isn't a final of what they cups will look like (image below!) but is so you can have an idea of what we are looking at getting. They are 350ml so perfect so a Cappuccino or Latte and means they are easy to carry around as won't be too bulky

Our trainees all love learning how to have a better impact on the environment so being able to help them promote this as well is a great way for them to learn! This has also been a dream of ours to have branded cups and so why not start here while also raising money for a good cause? This project will also help our trainees develop organising skills as they will help to package, process and post these cups and help to promote them as well
