Closing the Maths gaps in Disadvantaged Children
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

My aim is to reach out to those children who missed out on their maths learning in the early years of their education due to the pandemic.

My name is Scott and I am a fully qualified Primary School Teacher and have been for over ten years. My specialism is Maths and I currently have a number of students who dedicate their time in improving their maths and realising their own potential in a subject that does not need to be frightening.

Due to missed opportunities especially in the early years of their education, children missed out on the foundation skills in Maths and despite efforts of teachers to try and plug the gaps, the curriculum and the resources to do this in school are stretched and lots of children have fallen beyond the wayside.

Within my business, I have be able to close these gaps and accelerate the progress of young students to place them back on track and a and this gives our young gain given them the confidence to work alongside their peers without feeling inferior.

Being confident in Maths, has a knock on effect in other subjects and provides our young children with further opportunities to succeed.

I ask for funding because a lot of parents cannot afford a private tutor and one that dedicates his professional career on helping those who need this. These opportunities branch out to children if SEND who have also succeeded under the guidance of myself, and if I can make it affordable for all, then this would be fantastic.

All lessons are online to capture a nationwide audience. so the upkeep of software and resources for these children is important for them and us as a business. Our funding would allow us to advertise to provide opportunities for all children who are willing to give the time, energy and effort to improve in Maths.

We will use the funding to reach out to all areas of the UK, especially those areas that can only dream of this opportunity and want to better themselves.

To reach the children we need to, we aim to market ourselves on social media and through our Facebook Page Community, 'Maths Club 7' a hub for parents and students to see their reward and where parents can see our testimonials.
