Aim: Every person deserves a home they can feel safe and comfortable in — a place that offers peace, not stress or shame.

People living with disabilities, mental health conditions, or challenging life circumstances often struggle with everyday tasks that most of us take for granted — especially cleaning. Whether it’s due to physical limitations, depression, anxiety, or trauma, maintaining a clean home can quickly become overwhelming. What starts as a few unwashed dishes or unvacuumed floors can spiral into a living situation that feels unmanageable, isolating, and deeply distressing.

That’s where our project comes in.

We’re launching a compassionate, community-focused cleaning initiative with a simple but powerful mission: to restore dignity and comfort to the homes of people who are disadvantaged, disabled, or living with mental health challenges. Our goal is to offer free or low-cost home cleaning support to those who need a hand — not just with tidying up, but with rebuilding their confidence, mental wellbeing, and connection to the wider world.

We understand that a messy home is often a symptom, not the cause. Our team approaches every home with empathy, not judgment. We listen. We support. We clean — thoroughly, respectfully, and with heart. And in doing so, we help people begin to feel better not just about their space, but about themselves.

This project isn’t just about cleaning — it’s about changing lives, one home at a time.

With your support, we can:

  • Reach more individuals in need across Scotland
  • Cover the costs of equipment, supplies, and transport
  • Train a dedicated team in trauma-informed and disability-aware cleaning practices
  • Offer our services regularly, not just as one-offs
  • Partner with local support organisations, housing associations, and mental health charities to make sure no one falls through the cracks

This work matters — deeply. We’ve seen the relief on someone’s face when they walk into a freshly cleaned room after months of feeling overwhelmed. We’ve heard the gratitude of people who finally feel like they can invite friends or family over again. We’ve witnessed the transformation that happens when someone starts to believe they’re worth the care they’re receiving.

And now, we need your help.

By backing this project, you’re not just funding cleaning supplies — you’re giving someone a fresh start. You’re reminding someone who’s been struggling that they haven’t been forgotten. You’re making space for healing, dignity, and hope.

Together, we can clean up homes — and rebuild lives.
