We've been mentoring young people in Manchester for almost 30 years, helping them unlock their potential and make bright futures for themselves and their communities. But the cost of living crisis means we're running on empty and going downhill fast...just like our kart!
On Sunday 28th May we'll be "racing" awareness about our important work by rolling down a hill in Stockport along with a bunch of other Krazy people. Read more here about the Krazy Races Stockport Soapbox Derby and come along to watch!
We need your money!
Help us top up our tanks before the wheels fall off! Our charity has been helping young people in Manchester unlock their potential for almost 30 years, but we are still relatively unknown. We'd love to meet hundreds of new supporters on the day and get them as excited as we are about transforming young lives!
Meet our driver: Cameron Schumacher
Our driver Cameron started his journey with Citywise 8 years ago as a child in one of our mentoring projects. At the time his best friend had just died, and he had become withdrawn and isolated. He worked with his mentor Pedro for a year, then got stuck straight and started mentoring and fundraising for Citywise himself. Cameron is now in the second year of a youthwork degree, inspired by his time at Citywise.

Update -3 days to go
The construction phase is complete, and now it's time to infuse some vibrant hues into the design!
Update - 2 weeks to go
On Saturday we had to attend the Scrutineer Safety Check at Stockport...so we needed a kart of some description. Luckily we had a donated pedal-kart to use as the chassis, and our engineers were working hard the day before:
So on the day we were able to go through all the safety checks and get a provisional pass (one tyre needs a bit of attention before race day)
