At City Gateway, we imagine a society where everyone reaches their full potential; where the future is not defined by the past or determined by the place a person starts. We offer 1-2-1 support, training courses, and apprenticeships for disadvantaged young people, and help them to gain vital experience, much needed confidence and essential skills to ready them for the workplace.

0This year City Gateway is marking our 25th anniversary - 25 years of investing in young people's futures, 25 years of building connections in communities and with partners, and 25 years of enhancing social mobility for young people.
Working with 16-18 year olds, all of our current learners have taken their GCSEs straight out of Covid, and are facing a lower rate of social mobility, and a higher probability of living below the poverty line, due to the cost of living crisis. This is a hard starting point for any career so getting guidance and support at the right time is more vital than ever.
It is not hard to see why we are seeing a higher number of young people wanting to access our courses. Whether they need to pass their English or maths, gain work experience, or understand how to manage their personal finances, our team is ready to help them achieve their goals.
However, in the current economic climate we need your help to invest in a future, so our learners can access as many opportunities as possible, and unlock their real potential. Rather than turning young people away we are currently enrolling them, with 30 of this term's learners unfunded.
That's why we are asking you to donate as much as you can afford.
Please make an impact now...invest in a young person's future.
