The Cause
During 2023 our instructors undertook instructor training with a team from Oxsrad to deliver aerial arts and theatrical flying to people with disabilities and limited mobility.
Thanks to the support of public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England and a donation from the Lincolnshire Cooperative Community Champion fund we were able to deliver a range of workshops and activities throughout the summer of 2024 at the Big Top in Spilsby to people of all abilities, as well as work with professional artists to create a performance that was performed at our first Creative Heights Scratch-Night in September.
We are now asking you for help to raise funds to purchase a portable rig to deliver the accessible aerial and flying sessions, and potentially performances, out and about and at community events.
Creative Heights already attends many events delivering pop up circus sessions on our standard rigs but by contributing to our fund you can help make those sessions fully inclusive and open to people of all abilities.
We have had a lot of interest in the sessions in Spilsby but by helping us purchase the new rig you would be helping even more people access the experience of a new, amazing and empowering skill!
