Christmas with Omnium Radio

Aim: To raise funds for the Omnium Radio & Café Momus Christmas Day meal for those alone at Christmas.
Christmas can be a difficult time of year for many people; particularly if you are on your own.
Every year Omnium Radio tries to make Christmas Day a little bit easier for those living alone by putting on a free Christmas Day meal.
This includes a traditional Christmas meal (with all the trimmings!) as well as a variety of festive activities, including board games and a cinema room showing festive films.
The event is staffed entirely by volunteers who give up their Christmas Day to help provide a warm and friendly environment for those who attend.
But in order to provide for every attendee we rely on donations from the community. Previously this was in the form of donations of food, drink, and other things to be used on the day.
But this year, so that we can provide the best possible day for everyone, we are asking people to donate money so that we can buy top quality meats, vegetables and everything else that goes with a traditional Christmas Day meal!
