Christmas Longings

My name is Ademola Oguneko a.k.a Demoxxi, I am a passionate filmmaker and 2022 graduate from the University of West London, where I earned my degree in Film Studies. Throughout my time at film school, I honed my skills in storytelling, directing, and cinematography, always aiming to create meaningful films that resonate deeply with audiences. Now, I am excited to take the next big step in my journey as a filmmaker with my latest project, *Christmas Longings*. 

“Christmas Longings” is a heart-changing short film that delves into themes of love, loss, and hope during the holiday season. The story follows two siblings, Joel and Alice on Christmas Day, holding onto the hope of reconnecting with their estranged father after discovering an unmarked gift under the tree. Meanwhile, their father, Michael, a single dad to their half-brother Harvey, grapples with a severe miscarriage of justice that separates him from Joel and Alice, leading to a heart-wrenching arrest that endangered his fight for a new resolution in the coming year., capturing the emotional essence of what it means to long for connection and belonging at Christmas. 

It’s a film that will touch hearts and bring warmth to anyone who watches it.
