Christmas Aid to Ukraine Run

As Ukraine enters its 3rd full winter of the war their needs are greater than ever so I’m planning my 19th aid run/ trip to be carried out over the Christmas period. Russia has destroyed over half of all electricity/ power plants used for basic needs such as heating, water and gas. This has led to regular heating, electric, water and internet blackouts all across Ukraine affecting all walks of life. The military have been holding back half a million Russian invaders who are making slow but steady gains across the frontline slowed only by the sacrifice of hundreds of thousands of dead and wounded Ukrainian defenders, as well as civilians which Russia deliberately targets.

Working with a charity we have worked with before in Ukraine we will aim to bring them a 4x4 for the military and fill it with aid in the form of Christmas stockings for the children and other more venerable Ukrainians in need and for the military which will includes urgently needed medical supplies. Items will hopefully include but not limited to tourniquets, bandages, sweets, toys, socks/ hats, clothing, hand/ foot warmers, torches, stationery supplies, hygiene supplies and anything else we can think off to be useful or just give a boost to morale  

Hopefully we can spread some cheer to a nation that’s been through so much for nearly 3 years of full scale war against an ever aggressive country openly intent on destroying its very existence, identity, culture and sovereignty.
