Christmas on Burton Road 2024

Xmas on Burton road is about our wonderful local community coming together to celebrate the festive season.

On Saturday 30th November the West Didsbury Residents Association, in conjunction with local partners, will be putting on a celebration event that will culminate with the switch-on of our Christmas tree and lights.

The celebration will include family events, a Christmas trail for our younger attendees, and live music/performances provided by our local schools. As a community, we are very conscious of the current financial difficulties being faced by many we will be collecting food donations for the Wood Street Mission and new hats / gloves etc for our local warm bank. 

Xmas on Burton Road is a "not for profit" event. To enable us to cover the essential costs of putting on this event, we need to raise some money. Essential costs include infrastructure, road closure, sound, lighting, insurance, decorations, and entertainment, to name a few.

The event is being arranged and run by community volunteers and is free for all to attend, but please help us make the event a success by making a donation.
