Choral Scholarships for Young Singers

Many thanks for all the pledges this campaign has received in just 28 days! Indeed, a big "Thank You"! And welcome to our lively choir community, near or further afield.

Now that we have secured the funding for the first year, we are finalising the bilingual Information Sheet (English/Welsh) that invites for applications for the Choral Scholarships. The application deadline will be early September 2018. During September, we hope to audition all applicants so that we can announce the first recipients by 1 October 2018. I shall be sharing the Information Sheet here electronically shortly.

You are still invited to contribute to the campaign. I would appreciate any amount, though if you live locally, you might want to make use of the reward of a ticket to one of our concerts for a £10 contribution. The amount I am raising now will be used to make the project more sustainable; hence build up some savings so we may provide scholarships to young singers of the Wrexham area every year.

N.B. Our next performance is on 29 September as part of the Wrexham Street Festival, exact time and location still tba; there is no admission and you can witness a wide array of choirs in public spaces of the city. Among the upcoming events, where you might want to claim your reward for, is our concert commemorating the end of World War I on 9 November 2018 at All Saints Church in Gresford. I promise you, this will be a deeply moving event, which at the centre features Faure Requiem.  Details to follow, once the flyer is ready!
