Aim: Our app is designed to serve as a dedicated platform for Romanians in Europe, providing a secure and community-focused space rentals.

The Romanian diaspora in Europe, particularly in the UK, represents a substantial and growing community. With over 4 million Romanians living abroad, many are seeking housing solutions from fellow Romanians to maintain cultural ties, trust, and familiarity. My experience managing a Facebook community of over 70,000 Romanian users, who are actively seeking room and house rentals, has revealed a significant gap in the market: a dedicated real estate platform catering specifically to the Romanian diaspora.

The Problem: Despite the large number of Romanians living abroad, finding reliable rental properties from trusted sources remains a challenge. The existing platforms are often fragmented, generalized, and fail to cater to the unique needs of the Romanian community. Language barriers, cultural nuances, and the desire for community connections make it difficult for many to find the right housing options. This results in wasted time, frustration, and missed opportunities for both renters and property owners.

The Solution: We have developed a mobile app for both Android and iOS that directly addresses these challenges. Our app is designed to serve as a dedicated platform for Romanians in Europe, providing a secure and community-focused space for room and house rentals, as well as property sales. The app will leverage the existing strong community ties and trust within the Romanian diaspora to facilitate connections between renters and property owners.

• Bilingual Support: The app will support both Romanian and English languages, making it accessible to all users within the diaspora.

With over 1 million Romanians living in the UK alone, and many more across Europe, there is a significant opportunity to capture a niche market that is currently relying on fragmented and informal methods of finding housing.
