Chez Moi, a Restaurant with Rooms

 Nathalie & I met some thirty five years ago at le Gavroche restaurant where we both worked for the legendary Albert Roux. We learnt from the very best and both fell in love with the perfection that was constantly expected, the passion that everyone exuded and the theatre that was in acted at each service with such seamless style.

Over the last seven years we have built a reputation for great food and service in our small French restaurant Chez Moi. Now we have the opportunity to take over the lease of the whole building which has been somewhat neglected for over ten years by the present leaseholders. 

We want to create a beautiful restaurant with rooms that Bognor Regis can be very proud of.

We want to make this building look brand new and inviting with lots of WOW factor. So its going to get a brand new paint job and look fantastic.

Then we close for two weeks so we can replace the front windows that don't open, are single glazed and falling apart with beautiful double glazed windows that open for air flow and keep us warm when its cold. 

The entrance will be re built to allow for disabled access and our toilets will be re done, at the same time the restaurant will receive some TLC and be re decorated.

 The leaking roof in the Kitchen will be replaced and a cold room will be installed. 

Then we can re open the restaurant with a bang and carry on our dream of making peoples special moments come true.

After that is upstairs.

We have five bedrooms a huge dining area, large kitchen, bathroom and toilet.

The entire interior will be redecorated throughout, some of the rotting windows will need replacing and I imagine we will find other things that will need fixing.

The bathroom and toilet will need refitting and decorating.

The electrics will need checking and most probably will need re wiring.

The fire Alarm system will need to be checked and serviced.

We intend to make all the bedrooms en suite, and re furnish them to an exceptionally high standard. The same will apply to the dining/ lounge area.

The Kitchen will be equipped for us to cater for small baking and cookery classes as well as for sole lets for family's who might want to take over the whole building for a couple of days, a week or two.

So that's our dream our plan, but yes we need money to do all of this. We have a pot its just not big enough, so we need your help? and then maybe all our dream will come true.
