Who are we?
We are called Chetwynd Chess FC and we are part of the Nuneaton & District Sunday Football League.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We are hoping to raise some finances to initially create the combination of the Chess FC Junior set up with Chetwynd phoenix so that we create a pathway for amateur players within the Warwickshire area. The aim is to build the club and eventually become a competitive outlet within the Midlands area.
How we’ll spend the money raised
Depending on how much money is raised, we will be using the funding to start our project in the above. We will initially start by purchasing kit / equipment for the team and also to cover the costs of the upcoming season. We have long term projects also that would like to do such as building a community hub at our home pitch.
Community impact
It’s important to explain the wider impact of your organisation for the whole community, who does it benefit and why? Perhaps your facilities are used for other purposes outside of sport too?
We are hoping to build the club to be a major part of the community in the Nuneaton area. We will be able to offer good facilities and a good set up to allow people to play football from 6 years old all the way through to men's football. We also would like to grow and create a full pathway for Women's football within the area and long term to look at a disability side.

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
