Cuan Mhuire Rehab
We did it
On 21st July 2020 we successfully raised £1,660 ( + est. £225.00 Gift Aid ) with 33 supporters in 42 days

To raise vital funds to help Cuan Mhuire maintain their critical Residential Addiction Recovery service.

I am setting up this page to raise money for Cuan Mhuire in Newry which is a rehab facility for people who suffer from gambling and alcohol addictions. Cuan Mhuire is Ireland’s largest Voluntary Provider of Treatment Services and Residential Rehabilitation. The programmes they run offer support to those who suffering from addiction and their families.

 Cuan Mhuire’s mission is:

“To provide an environment in which people who feel rejected and dejected because of their addictions become aware of, and learn to deal with the underlying problems relating to these addictions and discover their uniqueness, goodness, giftedness and their real purpose in life”.

The rehabilitation centre is a non-profit organisation and relies solely on donations to keep it running. The foundation has been running since 1966 and has helped thousands of people gain sobriety and give them a life which is not controlled by their addiction.

My brother Chris and I are going to cycle the Inishowen 100 miles in a day in the next few weeks to raise money for this great cause.

Addiction is an issue both locally and nationally and there are residential facilities available for those who need this support.  Under the current circumstances with this pandemic I appreciate that money can be tight but anything that you can donate would be greatly appreciated and I know it will be put to great use.

Thanks for your help and support.

Brian
