The PTFA organises fundraising events for the school that are fun for the pupils, parents and help make links with the local community. The main fundraiser is a fell run which attracts people from across the country combined with a fun run and fair. In addition there are disco's, bingo evenings and other events. Money raised funds school equipment or projects the school couldn't otherwise afford.

Hello from the PTFA team of Charmouth Primary School.
We organise, manage (and even take part in) our Annual Charmouth Challenge Fell Run. An event that covers 8 miles of the Jurassic coastline from Charmouth to Golden Cap via Stonebarrow. There is also the 2 mile fun run for those who’d like a smaller challenge.
The event this year is on Saturday 1st July and is the 40th Anniversary since its first race in the summer of 1983.
As an event, we usually look for business sponsorship to help cover our event costs. Costs that as many other events have increased year after year. Couple this with businesses and households tightening their budgets, we know that it’s even harder to attract support. So we’re changing how we ask for sponsorship. And this is where our Crowdfunding mission comes in.
Whether you’re a business or just a regular average person, we’re hoping you can support our campaign.
Donate a suggested £5 or smaller if that’s all you can afford. If you can give larger amounts then that’s gratefully appreciated.
if you’re a business and are able to donate more, we can give your business advertising space on our website, social media and on the event day.
A business suggested donation is £25 for this.
For larger donations, we can create a bespoke advertising package in the run up and on the event day showcasing your brand to 100’s of runners, spectators, local people and holidaymakers.
Examples of this are advertising on the start finish line. Sponsoring a mile marker point and even having your logo on the running bibs. The list goes on.
A business suggested donation starts at £50 onwards to £200+ for this depending on what you require.
And because we’re a registered Charity, this is also considered as corporate sponsorship for businesses.
