CITA's vision
The Charity IT Association (CITA) introduces charities looking to improve their technology capabilities to volunteers with appropriate IT skills and experience.
Our vision is a world in which charities can harness the full potential of technology to increase their impact for good.
We help to achieve this by providing charities with access to affordable, trustworthy and independent technology services to allow them to achieve their own strategic mission.
Mentoring programme
CITA has also developed a mentoring programme with the UK Armed Forces. The partnership is known as the Odyssey Scheme and gives serving members of The Royal Signals the chance to work alongside an experienced CITA mentor delivering a real world project for a charity befitting not just the charity but helping a member of our armed forces develop their network, experience and skills.
CITA is now looking to expand this scheme to provide this invaluable experience to more Armed Forces personnel across the services, in turn helping even more UK charities out of digital poverty.
Support
CITA is funded through the generosity of our partners and individual donors, and by asking charities that we support to contribute towards our administration costs, where they are able.
Whether you can offer a modest financial contribution or a larger gesture, every penny finds its purpose in CITA’s commitment to supporting UK charities. Your generosity extends far beyond the confines of a single donation. With your help, we amplify the impact, touching the lives of not just one, but several UK charities. Month after month, we empower these organisations with the technological know-how they need to extend their reach and deepen their impact.
Many thanks,
The CITA Team
