CHARDON TRUST

KEEP THE LIGHTS ON!

As the heart of our community, Llandudno Museum and Gallery has been a beacon of knowledge, inspiration, and connection for generations. Today, we come to you with a heartfelt plea to help us keep our lights on and continue our mission of preserving history and enriching lives.

With approximately 9000 priceless artefacts in our care, we are not just a museum; we are the custodians of our shared heritage. From prehistoric relics to international collections, each piece tells a story, and it's our duty to ensure that these stories are preserved for future generations.

But our impact goes beyond the walls of our museum. We are the only Accredited Museum in Conwy Borough County with the capacity to welcome school groups, providing invaluable educational experiences that ignite curiosity and inspire lifelong learning.

We are a charitable institution run by Chardon Trust and none of this would be possible without the dedication of our 55 volunteers, who perform seven essential roles within our organization. Beyond their invaluable contributions to the museum, volunteering with us has become a transformative journey for many, fostering confidence, skills, and wellbeing.

Moreover, our commitment to community engagement extends far beyond our exhibits. We work closely with various groups, including Llandrillo College life skills students, Conwy Connect, Adferiad, and Blind Veterans, providing tailored programs and activities that promote wellbeing and inclusivity.

But today, we face a challenge that threatens to dim our lights. Financial constraints threaten our ability to continue operating at full capacity, jeopardizing the vital services and programs we provide to our community.

That's why we need your support. Your generosity will ensure that our lights continue to shine bright, illuminating the path for future generations to explore, learn, and grow. Together, we can preserve our past, enrich our present, and inspire our future. Join us in keeping the lights on at Llandudno Museum and Gallery.

Support KEEP OUR LIGHTS ON CAMPAIGN today!

Sincerely,

Llandudno Museum and Gallery

Best of luck! Keep pushing. And keep those doors open. Dawn and manju have so much knowledge to offer so many people wandering in. Volunteers are always happy and smiling and equally full of knowledge.
