Chapter is an international centre for contemporary arts and culture, presenting world-class work across visual art, performance and film. We’re also a vital community hub with 50+ studios housing Welsh creative talent and a busy social space where local people can meet, eat and create. Our work is underpinned by the belief that art has the power to connect us all, create meaningful change and transform people’s lives in our community. Our programme resonates with what's happening across the world and around the corner. We work with partners to prioritise social and cultural equity and advocate for communities and artists as world builders. Our key audiences are: artists and creatives; families with children 0-13 years; people from lower socio-economic backgrounds; young people 14-25 years; D/deaf people, and Black, Asian & Minoritised Ethnic people. We acknowledge that these groups intersect and that our work must centre and promote the Welsh language.
