Like so many schools across the country, Challock Primary is now facing unprecedented funding challenges. Rising costs for staffing, energy, and essential resources mean that, despite careful budgeting, we simply don’t have the funding we need to provide everything our children deserve.

We’ve done everything we can to protect staffing and keep the heart of the school intact, but we are now at the point where we are struggling to afford even the most basic resources — including exercise books, pens, glue sticks, and even art supplies.

That’s why we’re reaching out to our wonderful school community — parents, villagers, friends and supporters — to help us bridge the gap.

We are asking for voluntary contributions to help us buy the everyday essentials that bring learning to life for our children. This isn’t about extras or luxuries — it’s about protecting the quality of education that all children should be entitled to.

We know that times are hard for many families, but every single donation makes a difference, no matter the size.
