We're still collecting donations
On the 7th May 2023 we'd raised £200 with 9 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
At last we have the chance to get a chairlift up to the first floor of the Amethyst Centre! Help us pay for it!

Hello I'm Chris Ramsbottom, and in 2015 I founded The Amethyst Centre in Coventry, UK. It is a complementary therapy centre, where anyone who practises any therapy can hire a room from me and see their clients. Think of it as like Regus for therapists!
In 2018 Janet Tynan came on board as co-director. She used to have a couple of crystal shops in Coventry, and approached me to see if she could help out, and I was very grateful indeed!
It was obvious to me from the start that, even though the Centre itself is beautifully refurbished, and provides an oasis of calm on a busy main road in Coventry, we are sadly preventing a very important class of people from accessing our services - because we are up a flight of stairs. Our training room is on the second floor, up another flight of stairs too!
It breaks my heart to see people stand at the bottom of the flight of 16 stairs and say "I can't manage the stairs". This happened once too often, and I resolved to move premises.
We looked at several and even put offers in on one, which fell through. Then Covid struck...
... and we're still in business!
So we've looked at several ground floor premises but they have all fallen through. We're going to stay put at the beautiful Centre that we love, and which has a really helpful landlord.
At last we have the go-ahead from him to put a chair lift in to the stairs that you see in the picture. He has even offered to do all the work for us - but we have to pay our share.
At this point we think we need 2000.
Can you help us achieve this?
