1. This free prize draw is run by the British Red Cross Society, incorporated by Royal Charter 1908, a charity registered in England and Wales (220949), Scotland (SC037738), the Isle of Man (0752) and Jersey (430).
2. It is open to all residents of mainland Great Britain aged eighteen or over, except British Red Cross employees or contractors directly involved in or who could have influence over the running of the draw and their families.
3. To enter the draw, you can make a £5 payment to the British Red Cross via the designated 'Chelsea Flower Show prize draw - British Red Cross' Crowdfunder page or to enter without donating, you can send your full name, address, and contact details (email address and phone number) to 'Chelsea Flower Show prize draw - British Red Cross', 44 Moorfields, London, EC2Y 9AL. Postal entries will not be treated differently than paid entries. Your entry must arrive before the closing date of Sunday 11 May at 11.59pm. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win the draw.
4. There is no limit on the number of times you can enter – for the paid route, each multiple of £5 donated will count as an independent entry and for the postal route, each entry received in a separate envelope will count.
5. The draw offers three prizes: one pair of full show-day tickets on Thursday 22 May with a dinner for two at Claridge's Restaurant (main prize) and two pairs of RHS Chelsea Late tickets on Friday 23 May (runners up prizes).
6. Prizes cannot be swapped, exchanged or refunded, and are not exchangeable for a cash prize.
7. The winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received and the draw will take place on Monday 12 May.
8. The winners will be notified by email or telephone by Wednesday 14 May and must confirm their acceptance of the prize within seven days of being notified.
9. If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to confirm their acceptance of the prize, or is found to be ineligible or in breach of these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.
10. The surname and town of winners will be available on the ‘Updates’ tab of the Crowdfunder by Wednesday 14 May or on request by emailing [email protected]. If you win a prize and would prefer that your surname and town wasn’t disclosed publicly, please let us know. We may still need to provide this information to a regulator if challenged, to demonstrate that a valid draw has taken place.
11. We may ask winners to participate in reasonable publicity related to the draw, such as providing a photo, a testimonial, or a social media post. Winners are under no obligation to agree and may decline any such request without affecting their entitlement to the prize.
12. The British Red Cross is not responsible for any technical issues or failures that may prevent or delay the submission or receipt of entries, such as network or computer problems.
13. By entering this prize draw, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and by the British Red Cross’ decisions, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the prize draw.
14. The prize draw and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
