I heard Jimmy speak a few times and remember the twinkle in his eye. I think you’re wonderful Peter remembering and honouring him in such a beautiful way.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy once to discuss a project and found him to be a remarkable man. If anyone deserves a memorial bench, he certainly does!
I was lucky enough to be taught a few lessons in inclusion by Jimmy. He was a wonderful gift who, through his influence, keeps on giving.
Peter - I hope you get enough for the bench in Jimmy's memory. Best wishes, Fred.
I love my cat.
Great job Peter. I really miss Jimmy as a friend and colleague. I can still picture his lovely smile and that twinkle in his eye - usually when he was having a laugh at my expense about the football! His passion for equal rights and speaking up for others was there every day of his life. He was a true inspiration to me ❤️
Great cause! All the best.
Well done Peter.
Great idea Peter, all the very best reaching your target
Great way to show appreciation Peter, good luck with the benches, hope you’ve been training for September!!! Emily &John xx
Jimmy was a great guy. Peter's idea for bench is a brilliant one. Jimmy should be remebered for his warm smile and life time of campaigning.
Good on you Peter, Jimmy was dear to every one of us and it's a beautiful thing to see his memory celebrated in this way.
This is a lovely thing to do in the memory of a kind, bright, warm man who was so committed to making things better for others. x Jo
A wonderful way of remembering Jimmy, who did so much in the community. Good luck Peter. Mum and Dad
Miss you Jimmy x
Thank you Peter. This is such a lovely way of #celebratingjimmy and involving people. Well done. Best of luck with it!
Good luck Peter - All the best Ann (Claire's sister)
Jimmy was my friend and hero for many years. I sat on many groups with him at SCLD and the Scottish Government but i was most inspired by Jimmy coming to meetings to advocate for inclusive education. He cared about everyone and always had a smile and a lovely girl to support him. His ability to help everyone was what made him Jimmy.
Good luck Peter . Jimmy Mac was and continues to be an inspiration to me . I was truly privileged to be a small part of the changes he fought for . Gone but never forgotten and in my heart forever
100 years since some women gained the vote. Only 36 years ago since Jimmy had to fight for the vote for himself and other disabled people incarcerated. It is something to acknowledge injustice but the difference is made by those who challenge and fight injustice.
Jimmy inspired many people, and you are doing that, too, Peter. Jimmy would be very proud of you.
it's a great idea. Jimmy was a great guy. Hard working. Jimmy is still missed.
