Running 100K for the Samaritans

I am raising money for the Samaritans through running 100Km throughout the month. The samaritans is a charity which helps provide comfort to those who are feeling suicidal and support for those who need help. Every year there are 5,000 suicides in the UK with most being preventable. With around 75% of deaths being men, suicide is the silent killer people are only beginning to notice. Despite there being many factors to someone wanting to do this, the samaritans do not discriminate against factors or people, they only help and more support is needed to reach the target of no-one ever having to succumb to this preventable consequence. The Samaritans need our help.
In Particular now that we go into the festive season suicides are increasing, as people simply can’t cope with the holidays. People shouldn’t suffer in silence which is why the Samaritans is an honourable cause which needs our help.

I am running for those who feel lost and helpless, who can’t take the pressure of life, the ones who don’t know that help is available and also those who we have sadly lost this year, the people I know who have felt like they can’t handle it. People need to know about suicide prevention, the Samaritans and other noble causes are helping doing this, but they need our help.

Any donation is much appreciated and I will run from the 13/12/21 to the 13/01/22 in which I hope to have run 100Km.
