Coleshill CC's outfield mower is in disrepair no longer fit for purpose. We require funding to purchase a new one so we can cut the grass!

Hi there, we are Coleshill Cricket Club, an amateur sports team, run for the local community, established in 1854 and based in North Warwickshire. We are run totally by volunteers and have three adult teams in the Warwickshire league and two in the Arden league. We also have a thriving junior set up where boys and girls from the age of 5 come along and enjoy getting active playing cricket!
Unfortunately our only outfield mower is broken and beyond repair. The new season starts in April 2024, but we need to prepare the ground weeks before. We would be unable to play safely without the outfield cut, and the local community would not be able to use the facility (when cricket isn't being played) with as much enjoyment. We are a not for profit club and rely heavily on our members and committee to volunteer their time to enable the cricket club to function.
All money raised will go towards the funding of an outfield mower.
Our cricket pavilion has recently been redeveloped (through local grant schemes) and since then we have been able to host local SEN parent groups, the local Beavers, Scouts and Rainbows groups. A Nursery also use our pavilion during the weekdays. The Coleshill Community Hub also use the pavilion and outfield to host their fayre. We are really trying to get involved with the local community and share our facilities to enable many groups and as many people as possible can benefit from them.
Since the redevelopment we held an opening party where over 300 of the local residents attended, a Halloween party and also a quiz night. Residents are really starting to engage with us, so we have many plans to use our new facilities for the local community in the future, but we will struggle with some of those plans if we can't keep the outfield cut regularly.
There are three simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business, if you could kindly offer a reward for us to offer donors, we would happily add you as a sponsor on our club website.
