Cathays Wild Gardners
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

- Care for local green spaces - Encourage residents to grow wildflowers - Encourage residents to take care of local green spaces

by Beatrice Masters-Crutch in Cardiff, United Kingdom

This project will be mainly run by volunteers and will involve education and participation on the importance of wildlife.

The project aims to increase the number of wild gardens that are located in Cathays. We will educate local residents on the benefits of wild spaces for wildlife such as hedgehogs and pollinators, as well as encouraging maintenance of these areas and picking up litter in the community.

We envision a community with wild spaces that can be enjoyed by both the residents and the wildlife. We also hope by involving University students it will help to stop the divide between students and residents.

This site is being used as we need to raise money for gardening equipment, and therefore even a small donation will be massively appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
