Hey, my names Cassian and I'm a student in Leeds. I am raising money for Vaccinaid by running 100 kilometres across 4 weeks. I am hoping to raise £100 to help with bringing essential Covid vaccinations to the countries that do not yet have access to them.
COVID-19 doesn’t respect borders. To beat this virus, we have to see the bigger picture. We’ll only begin to recover from the pandemic when people in lower-income countries – as well as wealthier countries – have access to the vaccines. UNICEF is on a mission to deliver 2 billion vaccines around the world this year.
Just £25 could provide 20 doses of COVID-19 vaccines to health workers, teachers or vulnerable people around the world.
A £50 donation could train a health worker on administering the COVID-19 vaccines, tests and treatments.
Global COVID-19 vaccines rollout began on 24th February 2021. In the first 2 weeks, nearly 30 million doses were delivered to 32 countries. This is just the beginning. With your help, we’ll deliver 2 billion before the end of the year.
