As we all know Carol sadly passed away very recently leaving us all shocked and grieving.
Everyone that knew Carol knew of her love of horses and in particular her lovely Patrick. No doubt you will have seen her hacking out even when she was in a lot of pain, such was her love of Patrick.
Patrick is a complex character. He doesn't settle easily and given he too has lost his Mum it is too much to expect him to leave his herd. Added to that he is 20 years old and had some injury issues so selling him is just not an option. What he needs is a loving home with those who know him best and want to honour Carol's memory by fulfilling her last wish which was for Patrick to remain with his herd and be cared for by the girls on the yard.
They are all more than willing to do this and Craig is very supportive of this plan but given they all have horses of their own too they really need your help to build a little nest egg to get things started.
They are all taking care of his day to day care and will continue to do so but anything you can give however small will help with those day to day expenses. Craig is helping out too but given he has other priorities too everyone wants to help out where we can.
We know so many people loved Carol and have offered to help so this is an appeal to help us fulfil her dying wish and keep Patrick safe and cared for with those that love and cherish him as they did Carol.
