During the corona virus lockdown, we have seen an outpouring of appreciation for our frontline workers caring for our friends and relatives who have been taken ill.
In addition to doctors and nurses, we have staff working across the city either delivering care at home or within care home settings who are also at the forefront of keeping people safe and well during this difficult time.
Following on from a Body Shop at Home initiative to encourage their customers to buy an extra hand cream for our NHS staff, I thought it would be good if we can take this idea and expand on it.
I would like to raise as much as possible to allow us to buy hand cream, face masks and lip balms for our dedicated carers to say thank you and give them something nice to treat themselves.
I have teamed up with Body Shop at Home Consultant Kathleen Hunter to help make this happen and appreciate any support you can give.
