I was married in Iran and visited Afghanistan and saw the poverty and lack of opportunities in neighboring counties but especially Afghanistan. As a result, we have built schools, sponsored children into higher education and opened carpet centres for women with education attached. We have correspondents in all cities and will use them to identify widows and children in need and to distribute aid to them. We do not pay salaries as we rely upon local knowledge and links.
