Carbon Farming: positive change from the ground up

by Farm Carbon Toolkit in

We did it
On 10th March 2017 we successfully raised £4,255 with 27 supporters in 42 days

To encourage many more farmers to adopt Carbon Farming, helping tackle climate change whilst improving soils, food, water and farm profits.

Off we go!

Thank you so much to all our supporters! Whilst we raised less than our aim, we have enough to deliver parts of the project, including

  • A brand new Carbon Calculator with better functionality, more metrics, improved results deliver and better visual design. This will be free for any farmer anywhere to use.
  • Measuring the carbon footprint and soil organic matter levels of a number of farms
  • Disseminating results, advice and strategies to other farmers

We'll be getting back to you soon with our exact plan, which we just need to cost out with the money we have raised, and plan which farmers we will work with.

The picture below really sums up what we're about - farmers inspiring other farmers to drive positive change, and that's what we will be doing with this important project - kick starting a Carbon Farming revolution.
