Can't stop the Rock - Covid 19 appeal.

The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for the rock and metal scene in the UK, we are here to change things. Bands and Venues are cancelling gigs up and down the country and many of them may not survive this crisis.

Although the British government will be pledging money to help small businesses many bands will not meet the criteria they are going to set. These bands often survive on a day to day basis. They rely on revenue from ticket sales and merchandise in order to make enough to go into the recording studio and make the next CD. For many it is a fragile cycle and even small disruptions can be disastrous. Covid 19 is a LARGE disruption. 

Independent grass roots venues are always a couple of steps away from closure at the best of times never mind the worst times...such as this is. 

There are also wide ranging knock on effects to the demise of a large section of the music industry. Equipment hire and sales companies, printers, vendors, breweries, and a whole host of other businesses are quite reliant on the industry.

We want your help.... in bringing enough relief to these struggling bands and venues to see them through these turbulent times. Just a pound or even a fiver from each person who reads this will make a huge difference. 

Please dont leave it up to the Government to help out.....lets do it for ourselves.

EVERY penny raised will go to the bands and venues in need. we will thoroughly asses each case and allocate cash accordingly.

 Behind this appeal is a  LTD company that also runs as a social enterprise...Stonedeaf Monsters Promotions LTD. Its the company behind the Rockin the Bowl festival and prior to that the Stonedeaf festival. The funder will close in 2 months time and everything raised is released to the company, being a social enterprise Crowdfunder take no fees. Then we invite those affected to apply for funds,,,we will have a criteria whereby the band/venue needs to prove that the virus caused them hardship that resulted in a detrimental affects. The funding will be allocated on a 1st come 1st served basis until it has been used up. This is the basics. We have a lawyer on the team who will oversee the legal issues at the time.
