Up date on the sponsorship of my book, Gone To Pot.

Dear Friends,

This is just a quick update on the progress of my Crowdfunding book appeal.

Thanks to all of you my book appeal has reached nearly £2000; that’s in just ten days, so I am already in a position to hand out almost 200 books, so thank you very much.

The next step is to follow up with a few large corporate organisations to see if I can encourage them to support my campaign by sponsoring books. I have contacted a number of instituations, but the wheels tend to grind a bit slower than individual donations. If anyone has any contacts they feel would be helpful, let me know.

As I mentioned on my Crowdfunder site, I will be distributing the books through organisations involved in families: schools, colleges, social services and national charities. I have been engaged with several organisations that have already shown a lot of interest.

Lastly, I am hoping that the book will be ready for publication in September. The printer has not given me a specific date, but I am hopeful the book will be ready as planned.
