Who are we?
We are Camborne RFC. We are one of the oldest rugby clubs in Cornwall. We live by a " One family, One club " philosophy.
We have over 40 volunteers in the youth section from amazing coaches, team managers and 1st aiders , who help nearly 300 kids from U6 to U18 achieve their rugby dreams .
Why are we crowdfunding?
We would like to help the kids next season with new kit bundles . This would be match and training kit, also after match kit so they all look smart after the match.
Alot of the training equipment is worn , so some will go towards new training equipment.
Also nutrition is very important so making sure the kids have good food after their matches.
Camborne is one of the deprived areas in Cornwall and some parents struggle to buy their kids kit and even boots . So any help we can give would be amazing.
How we’ll spend the money raise.
We would like to buy Kit bundles so all the kids look the same and know one is left out .
We would like to order new training equipment to replace the worn equipment we have .
Also help the parents that struggle to replace kit or boots where we can .
Community impact
At Camborne RFC we go by a " One family , One club " philosophy and would like to help as many kids in our local area that would like to join us , but their families may be struggling and unable to afford curtain things like kit .
How you can play your part
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
