National Emergencies Trust Local Action Fund

We’re taking part in the National Emergencies Trust Local Action Fund. Donations to our project will be matched by the fund up to the value of £250 to help us overcome the effects of the pandemic.

Please note only one donation per supporter will be matched by the National Emergencies Trust Local Action Fund.

Call4Backup, or C4B, was founded by Essex Police Sergeant, Rob Webber in 2015 after his friend and colleague, PC Craig Pledger, sadly ended his own life following a battle with mental ill health. The charity was originally formed to bring people together to deal with their shared grief and support each other.

Since then the charity has grown and now offers Crisis Intervention, Funded Counselling Services and is also now part of the Police Charities UK Consortium, impacting on the way Mental Health is dealt with and managed in the Police.

I think is a really amazing and worthwhile project! While I don't and never have worked for the Police, I do know of some officers!
