Cafe Dream

Aim: My aim for this project, is to open a cafe. The areas residents are of old age. I would love to give them an affordable place to go.

Hi all. My name is Jay. I am 33 years old. I am here to tell you my stroy, we lost our dad to to non hodgkins lymphoma cancer, with a broke hip and pelvic, he battled cancer and and being bed bound for six years. We lost our dad when he was 53 years old and he said he feels guilty for not having to the time to save to leave anything for his family. That thought always stuck in my mind. For me and my family none of that mattered. We just wanted our Dad and mum wanted her husband. My dad was under the Christie cancer care. Since we lost Dad, myself and family have always raised money for the Christie charity. My dream for some time has been to open a traditional cafe. The areas residents are of old age and there are several residential homes close by. I want a place for these deserving people to go that is local and affordable, it is perfect for a traditional cafe and perfect for fund raising events also. The space I have found is currently a bistro, the kitchen and facilities are there and  ready  to use. It just needs our touch on it. The business is being sold for £35,000. We are currently looking for £40,000. we have saved some money and it has taken so so long to do so. When I say we, the cafe will be run by myself my mum and my 2 sisters.

We are proud to show our reasons for our project and we will keep our promise to keep om helping those who need our help and to keep raising money for ney for charity. 

We have had so many ideas and have narrowed our ideas down with plenty of discussion to what we want your vision to turn into. We have tried everything to come up with the money to turn our dream into a reality. There have been set back with other illnesses in the family and other dilemmas that have come as a surprise but we have stayed hopeful and positive and we will continue to make our dream happen.
