Cafe Bar Refurbishment

We are a vibrant Cafe Bar within a busy Arts Centre, in Corsham, Wiltshire.  We are used by customers of all ages – from families with new born babies to seniors. Pound Arts & our café is right in the heart of our community and is used by a wide variety of people and groups including young people attending post school activities, therapeutic services, attenders of music/theatre events, the refugee community and even disability support charities. There is something for everybody in our building. Our vision is to connect people through the arts and the café, and it’s atmosphere, is central to this. The café is the heart of the operation and we work hard to ensure that there is a warm welcome for all. By supporting this crowdfunder you are supporting a vibrant rural community and all its components.

We are playing an important role in wider community life as well – we have led the way locally in making great strides to become more environmentally sustainable in all kinds of ways, above and beyond our status as one of the only vegan cafes in the region.

The café has been in need of an update for some time, and having come through the worst of the Covid 19 Pandemic, now is the time to act. We operate in a small space, without a dedicated Kitchen area, making our limited resources go a long way. Our planned update includes an overhaul of the working spaces and equipment creating a better environment for customers and staff. We have raised most of the funds that we require and are looking for your support, big or small, to reach the final target.
