Café and Airbnb Venture in Vrådal, Norway

Aim: The aim of the project is to support my children with their dream to open a cafe, I would love to be able to do this with them.

Thea (7) and Ashton (4) came to me with a dream – a magical place where children could play, laugh, and enjoy food made just for them, while their parents could relax, sip coffee, and connect with others in a cosy, calm environment. Their vision inspired me. This café isn’t just about coffee and cake – it’s about creating a community hub where families feel truly seen and supported.

With over a decade of experience in marketing and business development, I understand how to build a brand that connects emotionally, drives foot traffic, and grows revenue. My professional background, combined with a real passion for meaningful, lifestyle-led business, makes this venture not just a dream, but a smart, strategic investment.

The property we’ve found in Vrådal, Norway, is full of character – a historic building from 1913 that’s ready to be transformed into a thriving café and Airbnb. The Airbnb aspect provides a second income stream, making the business sustainable even through seasonal shifts.

We are looking to raise £260,000 (NOK 3,520,000) to purchase and renovate the property, build out the café and children’s area, and set up the Airbnb. In return you can receive lifestyle perks like 14 nights free stay at the Airbnb and 50% off food and drinks at the café.
