A community nurse with a fierce instinct for helping others, I’ve spent the last two years navigating the complexities of district nursing, always searching for deeper purpose. Originally from Kenya, I recently returned after a decade away—just me and my three kids—to reconnect with my roots on my father’s farm near Mount Kenya. My mind never left.
Inspired by that land, I’m now dreaming up a retreat—cabins perched by the riverbank, offering excursions to the majestic mountain that has shaped so much of my journey. Life shifted after loss, but instead of retreating, I chose to leap.
I ride motorbikes, I run (though, if I’m honest, only because it feels like an escape), and I believe intuition is a gift best put to work. Whether through nursing or building something new, I’m determined to keep moving forward—because I’ve finally discovered that life is for living.
