Myself and my wife aim to buy a catering van to sell healthy life style food with your kind donations, as well as always having a long life dream to work for ourselves we hope initially to get our disabled son out of the house and into work, he is in his 30's and all he as ever had the opportunity to do was an apprenticeship. With the government withdrawing funding causing day centres for the disabled to close there is nothing and no opportunities available, we want to make a difference and implement change and show other business the opportunities they're missing by not employing disabled individuals. Once the business is fully established and doing well we aim to expand providing further opportunities for individuals of all ages with disabilities. My wife too is disabled she as Disc Degenerative Disc Disease in lower lumbar spine as well as Arthritis in her hands, she works full time and there's no reason why many others can't but the opportunities need to be available. We want to be an example and show the world that disabilities doesn't prevent an individual from being able to contribute to society enabling them to lead a fulfilling lifestyle. We won't stop there as we want people that are given the opportunity to work for us also have the chance to enhance their skills by us working alongside the local job centre for funding for apprenticeship enabling them to obtain recognised qualifications.
Pleas help us make a difference by being able to provide opportunities that currently aren't available via the government or job centres, the only idea the job centre ever put forward to our son was to do charity work, he tried with British Heart Foundation whom finished him after 1 day as our son require 1-2-1 support with prompts.
With your help not only will this give our son the support he needs but it will provide us and many others a meaningful life.
